Entries should be postmarked/submitted
online no later than August 8th, 2007. If it will be after this please e-mail me
and let me know you are sending it and if you will be eating lunch with us so I
can let the caterer know. Due to the time involved in
registering each entrant and model, please try to submit it by this date and to make sure the list you submit
is correct. Day of show changes will be permitted within reason.
Day of show entries will be allowed but you may or may not be able to purchase
lunch the day of the show.
Your paid entry will include at least 1/2 of an 8' table to set up
your entries on. You may reserve an extra 1/2 table for an additional charge of
$10. If there is unused table space on the day of the show entrants will be able
to use it at no charge on a first come first served basis but no refunds of
reserved space fees will be given. Even though I know many of you would love to
have a full table without the extra charge I can not reserve extra space
for you unless you pay.
LIMITS: There are no
limits on how many models you may bring but due to the large classlist there will be a 5 minute set-up between
Performance classes and 3 minutes between Halter classes. Plan for these limits,
however a longer period may be allowed if we have the time. There is a 5 horse limit in workmanship,
collectibility, gender and color classes. There
are no limits on breed or performance classes. There will be four divisions
running concurrently with each other so please pay attention to class
announcements.
The show hall will open at 8 AM. First classes will be called at 9 AM.
Classes with less than 3 models may be combined with another class.
Divisions with less than 20 models may be combined with another division.
Entrants may sell from their tables at no extra charge. Vendor only
tables will be available for $25.
We are having a raffle, tickets may be purchased for $1 each or 6 for
$5. While you do not have to be present to win a raffle item the winner will be
responsible for all postage/packing charges.
The show hall will open at
8 am with the first classes called at
9 am. Please have your models ready to go. All models entered in the
show
MUST
be listed on showers list that you provided to
the showholder with your entry. Judges will be checking all classes to make sure all models are entered
in that class. Models not listed on the judges sheet must be removed or entered
with the hostess before the class is judged.
I am not assigning numbers this year, all models will be required to be tagged with a Region 1 tag saver tag. For
information on the Region 1 tag saver program please click
here and follow the link on that page to get your tag
saver number. IT'S FREE! Tags must contain the model number. They may also contain the
breed and gender but this information is not required. The front f the tags may
contain only the model number, breed, and gender, the back of the tag can
contain whatever information you wish but please make sure the front of the tag
is face up when you place your model on the judging table. Tags are not provided by the showholder.
Halters are permitted but not required in halter classes. Halters will
not be used as a judging criteria but please make sure your halters fit properly
if you choose to use them. Any other tack or enhancements (bridles, dioramas,
etc) are forbidden.
Unsteady models may be placed on their sides on the table for
judging. Owner should be available to turn model over at the judges request.
If the owner is not available, the judge has implied permission to turn the
model over. Felt pads, towels, etc. may be used to cushion a model placed on
it's side, no other enhancements will be allowed.
Judges decisions are
FINAL.
Please feel
free to ask the judge questions between classes but do not approach the judge
once a class has been closed. Arguing with the judge(s)
WILL NOT BE
TOLERATED.
Please remove your entries promptly when asked to do so. Unattended models will
be sent to the Pony Pound, requiring a .25 bail.
No Cross- entries between
Halter divisions. Traditionals
and classics must be shown in the regular halter classes and minis must show in
the mini classes. Minis will not be permitted in the regular halter classes just
as traditionals and classics are not permitted in the mini classes. Your model
may show in only one Halter division! If your model is an odd size please ask
the judges before the show to determine which division it should be placed in.
If you have sent in your entry but find yourself unable to attend
the show, a refund of 90% of the total fees paid will be given if the showholder
is notified at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the show. Cancellations after
this will be given a 50% refund of all fees paid. No exceptions.
